Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is ?10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor?s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
Please Note
Please note that for the period between 01/05/2008 & 31/12/2008 a total renovation will take place at miscellaneous part of the property; rooms in the main building, suites, new club lounge, hotel terrace, main gate, health club, Link@Sheraton, old pool by the Nile. During this period all the rooms in the main building will be closed down. However, the terrace area is only expected to take around the first 3 months of the renovation period. At all times the bungalow rooms will be fully operational along with the new pool and all the restaurants and bars.
