The hotel Jacaranda is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of life. Crockery and cutlery from Switzerland graces the dining tables, pastries are hand made, while customers may assist in choosing their own menu. The location is calm and peaceful. The pool area is quiet while the indoor pool and sauna centre spotlessly clean. Animals are allowed.
Accommodation
The accommodation consists of 30 rooms, all of which are functionally and comfortably equipped. Each room has either a balcony or terrace. All of the rooms are decorated with original paintings by a local artist as well as German and French, artists. The paintings were created in Morocco depicting Moroccan themes. All of the rooms are equipped with a hair dryer and electric outlet for razors, telephone and satellite television with more than 500 channels, air conditioning is unnecessary because the building layout will prevent heat from penetrating into the guest rooms and the walls are twice as thick as normal for insulation. During winter, the floor is heated with water, warmed by solar panels, thus maintaining a comfortable room temperature for the well-being of all guests.
Food & Beverage
The Jacaranda Restaurant elaborates its meals with refined local ingredients and serves the meals on Rosenthal china. As guests enjoy eating in the restaurant, guests can gaze on the spectacular view of the magnificent garden, romantically, illuminated in the evening. The Rotonde restaurant and grill features an open air barbecue, and invites guests to enjoy the fish special, a dish they will never forget. At the bar, a variety of cocktails and long drinks is served. The atmosphere created by the synthesis of Moroccan style and European design is highly enjoyable.
Sports & Leisure
The heated indoor pool is open from 7 am to 9 pm. A sauna and two Vaporsan cabins ? the modern and hygienic version of a Moroccan Hamam are at guests? disposal. A terrace/solarium adds another option to the pursuit of wellness. An outdoor pool is also available. Furthermore, in the shade of high palm trees, surrounded by cooling fountains, guests will rest in an oasis of rest and tranquillity. Among the variety of exotic plants and trees, guests will find the Queen of the Night, one of the most spectacular tropical plants, decorously climbing a palm tree.
Facilities & Services
Car rental and money exchange facilities are available at the hotel, as well as the booking of sightseeing excursions. Besides of Arabic and French, English, German and Italian are spoken. Free access on the Internet is provided in the Reception-area and for laptop-owners there are 10 rooms with ADSL-connections available upon request - free of charge.
Useful Information
Walking along the golden beach, visitors will discover the beauty of the Bay of Agadir (a short ride by a small taxi from the hotel). Another option for transport into town or to the port of Agadir are public buses. The hotel offers golf packages with either 3 green fees for three different golf courses or five green fees for three different golf courses including individual transfers to the golf.
Reps Opinion
This hotel is delightful and calm, suited to older couples, single travellers and customers wishing to experience life outside of the tourist resort of Agadir. Its location is not an issue as the local taxis are freely available and very cheap and are needed to access the main town and beach. The hotel will be appreciated by animal lovers who will look forward to meeting the hotels dog Shelley!
